HobbyBoss 1/48 Su-27UB "Flanker" C 81713
The Su-27 "Flanker" is a single-seat, twin-engine, Mach 2-class fighter jet designed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau during the Soviet era. Designed to directly counter American third-generation fighters, it boasts a range of up to 3,530 kilometers, can carry a large weaponry, and features sophisticated avionics and high maneuverability. While typically used for air superiority missions, the Su-27 can participate in almost all combat operations. It compensates for the shortcomings of the smaller MiG-29. The American fighter jet most similar in purpose to the Su-27 is the F-15 "Eagle."
Several variants have been developed based on the Su-27. The Su-30 is a two-seat all-weather fighter jet capable of performing a variety of missions, including air-to-air and air-to-ground blockade.
