The BMW M8 GTE is an endurance race specification developed based on BMW’s flagship coupe model. The M8 GTE is powered by a 4.0 litre V8 engine. It made its debut in the 2018 24 Hours of Daytona, and won the following year in 2019. To build on this momentum, the car also participated in the 2020 24 Hours of Daytona. Jesse Krohn was entrusted to drive the No. 24 car of BMW Team RLL with the final stint. The BMW M8 GTE won two consecutive titles following 2019.
