HobbyBoss 1/35 USAF XM706E2 84536
The XM706E2 was provided to the U.S. Air Force for airbase defense, battlefield reconnaissance, transport of military supplies, and explosive ordnance disposal. A key feature of the XM706E2 is its lack of a turret, replaced by a raised central guardrail and pallets. The U.S. Air Force's XM706E2 can be equipped with various weapons during training, but the most common configuration is a 12.7mm M2HB machine gun and a 7.62mm NATO M60 machine gun.
Other available equipment includes the XM174 40mm grenade launcher and searchlights. The U.S. Air Force's Third Security Police Force at Clark Air Base in the Philippines used it as a fire support vehicle until it was replaced by the M1026 Humvee in the fall of 1988.
